Professional Development Units (PDUs)

As a Registered Education Provider for PMI, PMCentersUSA is approved to award Professional Development Units (PDUs) for all courses. PMI uses PDUs to measure education hours. Like many in the field of project management, you may be interested in earning PMI’s PMP designation as a way to add value and independently authenticate your position as a certified Project Management Professional. The Master’s Certificate program is designed to help you prepare for this prestigious certification by addressing all the critical areas in PMI’s PMBOK^® Guide. In order to be eligible to sit for PMI’s PMP exam, you must earn a minimum of 35 hours (PDUs) of education, specifically in project management. PMPs who seek to maintain their PMP credential are required to complete 60 PDUs every three years. Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

Through our university affiliations, all our public courses carry Continuing Education Units (CEUs). CEUs are an official way to recording the completion of postsecondary education and professional development. For each course you complete, you will receive a certificate indicating the number of CEUs you have earned. These certificates are evidence of successful completion of courses and should be retained as proof of your achievements.

Affiliation with the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®)

In 2007, PMCentersUSA became an Endorsed Education Provider for the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). Being an EEP signifies that PMCentersUSA is an established business with courses pertinent to business analysis. PMCentersUSA has also shown that it offers quality procedures to deal with course development, updates, and instructor selection. Moreover, PMCenterUSA has also integrated industry standards and student feedback into its development process. Continuing Development Units (CDUs) and Professional Development Hours (PDs)

PMCentersUSA offers business analysis training, helping you earn PDUs and Continuing Development Units (CDUs), as well as Professional Development hours (PDs), to work toward the Certified Business Analysis Professional Examination (CBAP). CBAP® applicants need 21 hours of professional development (PDs) (i.e., course classroom/contact time) to meet the CBAP certification professional development requirement.  Individuals seeking to be recertified for the CBAP certification need a minimum of 60 CDUs for recertification. If you are working toward initial certification, one hour of professional development is worth 1 PD.  If you are a CBAP, one hour of professional development is worth 1 CDU. PD hours are for initial certification, and CDUs are for recertification.  For more information please refer to the IIBA Certification and Recertification handbooks.
