WELCOME TO PMCENTERSUSA

A Letter from Mark Balish and Joe Lukas:

We have both worked as business analysts and project managers during our careers, so we understand the problems and frustrations encountered by project teams. That’s why we are focusing our efforts on Delivering Total Project Solutions for our clients. We have seen some organizations try the approach of holding a two- or three-day training class on a wide range of topics in project management and/or business analysis that doesn’t get into what really works on projects, and then wonder why project results don’t improve.

Delivering Total Project Solutions goes beyond just holding a generic training class for business analysts and project managers. Delivering Total Project Solutions is defined as providing a client organization with consulting, training, mentoring, and coaching for project team members to help ensure projects are effective. Many organizations lack procedures, templates, and a fully defined project process. Some organizations don’t have project team members with sufficient training in the most critical aspects of business analysis and project management. Both scenarios make it extremely difficult for project teams to be successful. This is where we can help your organization. Our approach has been—and continues to be—finding the very best project consultants and instructors with hands-on experience in completing projects successfully. We can provide the building blocks that will give your organization a solid foundation in business analysis and project management.

In today’s tough business climate, organizations that are not effective will not survive. Project personnel who don’t excel at their jobs may face an uncertain employment future. We are passionate about helping organizations and individuals improve their project skills, which directly leads to better projects and improved business results. Our desire to help the projects community led to our decision to provide free services that help people improve and further develop their skills.

  • In 2009, we are averaging at least one webinar a week, and more than 5,000 people have participated in these free offerings. Our webinars address educational topics relevant to business analysis, business process improvement, and project management, and provide proven best practices from our experienced team. The webinars are conducted at noon Eastern Time and run for 30 minutes, with a live question-and-answer period afterward. We will continue this free service in 2010 to help projects personnel improve their skills.
  • In 2009, we have given more than 25 free educational talks for IIBA® Chapters, PMI® Chapters, and other organizations across the United States.
  • Our website provides free downloads of educational papers on business analysis and project management, along with tools and tips to help project teams.
  • In 2009, we continued our sponsorship of a committee member on the ISO committee working on a global standard for project management. Our entire team at PMCentersUSA is focused on helping clients improve project results. Contact us and learn how we can deliver total project solutions for your organization.
